What fascinates me about architecture in the Middle East is that they know how to incorporate nature and reflect the surroundings into the buildings they construct. In the west they pave paradise and put up a parking lot. Were trees and grass are removed the replacements will be asphalt and great glass buildings. The end result will be clean and tidy but it will lack character or soul, and no wow sensation. I guess this is something only really achieved when you build boldly like in the Middle East.
It was with this in mind we have been experimenting with architecturally inspired patterns and textures of ancient Egyptian stone structures so
that they can amplify the effect of light and shadow on the surface. There is a little more development needed but just had to let you see.
